IMMAF is pleased to launch two new programmes which open access to internship vacancies within the organisation as well as volunteer opportunities to support IMMAF and contribute to the success of IMMAF events, which start up again this summer.
IMMAF CEO Densign White said of the IMMAF Internship programme: “The rapid growth of IMMAF in a changing world means the time is right to enhance our team with new interns who can provide fresh insights and perspectives. IMMAF wants to give these individuals, who may be studying or looking for a career change, the opportunity to gain experience of the sport industry, carry out challenging work assignments and immerse themselves in the exciting world of MMA.”
The IMMAF Internship programme will offer opportunities to work with one or multiple departments and will be open to students and other individuals around the world.
The Internships will range from 2 months to 12 months and demand a minimum commitment of 20hrs per week. The Programme runs throughout the year, and opportunities will be posted here.
Volunteer Programme
The IMMAF volunteer programme will not have fixed timelines and will allow successful applicants to contribute to the success of IMMAF’s flagship events and the legacy of the sport of MMA.
The programme runs throughout the year, with opportunities both with IMMAF departments and IMMAF’s events/championships, which will be posted here.
Densign White concluded: “We set up these programmes because most of IMMAF’s core staff started out as volunteers and understand the value and importance of this pathway. The staff will do everything to make the experience worthwhile for successful applicants.”
There will be a dedicated session on 23rd April during the IMMAF Technical Seminar week to provide a more detailed overview of the new programmes.
