UFC is the outstanding, world leading brand in professional MMA. IMMAF wants to be the equivalent in the amateur space – with gold standard regulation, governance, competition and athlete development programmes.
IMMAF’s 2021 – 24 Strategic Plan must be placed in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. We expect the economic and sport related consequences to impact 2021 and probably 2022. As a result, like all sport federations, IMMAF must survive economically and remain relevant as a sport in a highly volatile world.
Our plan is pragmatic but optimistic. The key goals are:
Become financially self sustainable.
Gain official sport recognition, from GAISF and other entities.
Build “best in class” governance structures and development policies.
Work with governments to prioritise sport development.
Expand audience reach, engagement and commercial brand value of IMMAF content.
