The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) is proud to announce a new initiative that empowers athletes to provide valuable feedback on their event experiences. Athletes competing at IMMAF events will now have the opportunity to share their insights, helping shape future improvements.
The athlete feedback survey, spearheaded by IMMAF Development Consultant Jorden Curran in collaboration with the IMMAF Athletes’ Commission, will be a permanent feature on the event section of the IMMAF.org website. The survey allows all IMMAF athletes to reflect on various aspects of the events they competed in during 2024, including logistics, competition environment, and the overall quality of their experience.
The survey can be completed anonymously if preferred, giving athletes the freedom to express their thoughts openly. All responses will be reviewed by the IMMAF Athletes’ Commission, ensuring that the athlete voice remains at the heart of IMMAF’s event evolution.
Former IMMAF world champion and current Athletes’ Commission chairman, Irman Smajic commented: “As athletes, our experiences are important not only to our personal growth but to the evolution of the sport itself. We care greatly for the opinion of all athletes on the IMMAF platform, and this new survey is a positive tool for ensuring that every athlete’s voice is heard and considered in the ongoing development of IMMAF events. It’s an opportunity for athletes to directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our competitions as we evolve together.”
Jorden Curran commented: “Hearing the voice of athletes is crucial in driving progress within organized sport, it is the only true way to have confidence in the work we do. By introducing this survey, IMMAF strengthens the connection between the Athletes’ Commission and the competitors they represent. This will allow us to gather a collective perspective, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance what athletes value most and address any areas of concern. Convenience and ease of access were among the most important factors, and so the survey will be permanently available on immaf.org. Athletes do not need to download or return any documents, simply fill out the sections on the page and click send.”
