The MMA World Cup provides additional hosting opportunities for IMMAF federations and more competition opportunities for MMA’s elite amateurs. Notably in 2021, the MMA World Cup has provided a European platform for nations that were unable to travel to Russia for the European Championships during the pandemic, including large teams from Sweden, Norway, Ireland and Ukraine. The tournament also provides the final chance this year for ranking points to be earned for the World Championships.
Four days MMA action will be streamed live on IMMAF.TV for international audiences, from 8 to 11 September for just $/ £/ € 3.99. Broadcast is to commence daily at 10:30am CEST with an estimated run time of up to 6 hours. Subscription packages to the channel are also available offering access to IMMAF’s forthcoming live events as well as its Championships archive, which includes the recent European Open Championships in Russia.
For fans in the Czech Republic, tickets to attend the Championships at the UNYP Arena Prague are available to buy here. The event will also be broadcast nationally on TV Sport 5 and on CSMMA channels.
