This year, with the theme “Behind every #WhiteCard, there is a story” IMMAF has collected more than 800 images from the IMMAF Family around the world to collectively measure the positive impact of amateur MMA on peace through sport.
Each year, to celebrate International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, Peace and Sport invites the world to show its support for the peace movement through sport through the symbol of the White Card.
The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation is proud to support Peace and Sport and shares the vision to help build peaceful communities through the power of sport and create a safer, more equitable and inclusive world.
IMMAF President, Kerrith Brown said:
“At IMMAF we believe in the power of sport to bring people together and to transform lives. As well as our partnership with Peace and Sport we have set up a Peace Through Sport Commission and are fully supportive of initiatives by our Member Federations to change lives through sport. IMMAF is fully committed to the mission of building peaceful communities and a safer, more equitable and inclusive world and are happy to do our part in support of the 2021 White Card initiative.”
