Meet IMMAF Partner Tuff-N-Uff

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation is pleased to present our partner for the execution of the World Championships – Las Vegas promoter Tuff-N-Uff. The IMMAF has partnered with local promoter Jeff Meyer and Las Vegas’ own “Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of Mixed Martial Arts” to present the first-ever amateur MMA world championships June 30th to July 5th . The IMMAF selected Tuff-N-Uff Productions to partner in  hosting the tournament because of their excellent reputation and proven experience in Las Vegas. Operating since 1994 in the market, Tuff n Uff has promoted pioneering events such as the first MMA competition exclusively for women in Nevada. The vision for moving the sport forward is what bonds this partnership, with both sides committed to providing the athletes with what they need for a safe and exciting competition in the forthcoming challenge. “At Tuff-N-Uff, we’ve always strived to put on the best amateur events in the nation,” Tuff-N-Uff CEO and co-founder Jeff Meyer said. “Now we’re extremely excited to partner with the IMMAF and welcome in the best amateur fighters in the world in order to crown true world champions. This is going to be an incredible event and memorable for both fans and competitors alike.” Tuff-N-Uff was founded with the purpose of helping promote and lobby for the sanctioning of amateur MMA events in the United States, in addition to other aspects of combat sports. The company was founded by the late Barry Meyer, a black belt in taekwondo and former hedge fund trader, who served as president of the organization until his death in 2013. The organization has since been run by his father, Burt Meyer. “We can’t underestimate the importance of having a strong partner in the practical execution of the World Championships. It is a sports event that will demand a lot from everyone involved and we’re positive that “Tuff-N-Uff”, with their experience and expertise, are more than up for the task” says IMMAF President Bertrand Amoussou.   ### Contact information: press@immaf.org   Learn more about the IMMAF World Championships: immaf.org/worldchampionships Learn more about the IMMAF: immaf.org Learn more about the Tuff-N-Uff: www.tuffnuff.com IMMAF on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IMMAFed
