IMMAF partners with Phantom Athletics as official kit supplier

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) is pleased to announce Phantom Athletics as an official equipment partner. The two-year deal will see Phantom Athletics produce a bespoke IMMAF range under license, with the opportunity for Phantom to provide equipment at future IMMAF championship events. Phantom MMA was founded by Nicolas and Dominique Wenger in 2010. From the outset the company mission was simple – to offer high quality goods that support the athlete and further the sport. In 2012 the name changed to ‘Phantom Athletics’ as an indication of the company’s desire to supply all athletes with the necessary tools to succeed. 2016 sees the launch of the Phantom Training Mask, designed as a dumbbell for breathing muscles for those who train hard but desire to push themselves further. The Phantom Training Mask provides a fully adjustable, anatomically fitted mask that allows athletes to control the air intake during exercise and recovery without needing to remove the mask. This means that athletes can now strengthen the breathing muscles without interrupting their workout. Dominique Wenger, CEO of Phantom Athletics, commented: “Phantom Athletics are delighted to announce a game changing two-year partnership with the IMMAF. Both brands use the same guiding principle of ‘protect and serve our athletes.’ We look forward to ensuring this vision becomes a reality.” IMMAF President, Kerrith Brown, said: “Phantom create combat sportswear for participation in MMA and its core sports, equipment both for training and competition plus desirable street wear. IMMAF is proud to associate with a company whose aim it is to enable effective training through functional equipment and clothing, purpose built to protect the athlete and promote success. We look forward to working with Phantom to improve the training experience of IMMAF athletes and collaborating in the building of champions.”
