The tournament was a major success, serving as a landmark event to celebrate the IMMAF 10th Year Anniversary.
The 2024 IMMAF European Championships comes in the wake of the 2023 IMMAF World Championships in Tirana, Albania, which saw multiple European athletes crowned as World Champions. In particular, Patrick Habirora (BEL), Zé Machado (POR), and Lisa Zimmo (ENG) stood out, underscoring just how deep the European amateur MMA talent pool is.
Multiple athletes who competed in the 2023 World Championships have indicated their intentions to return to IMMAF competition for the 2024 European Championships, including the likes of Jr. Atomweight Champion Amy Scully (IRE) and Sr. Flyweight silver medallist Lauren Reay (ENG).
In Belgrade, the next generation of European talent look to announce themselves to the world, as they seek Continental glory on the road to the 2024 IMMAF World Championships.
