– At the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Gerard has initiated numerous high-profile proceedings, which include breaches of club licensing regulations, age fraud, spectator misconduct, match manipulation, and anti-doping rule violations. He also frequently works on complicated legal topics, including matters relating to elections, governance, gender eligibility, reputational due diligence, multi-club ownership, anti-doping, and regulatory compliance.
– Gerard regularly appears before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne and is one of the youngest counsels to have argued before the ‘Supreme Court of Sports’, having made his first CAS appearance at just 25 years old.
