The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) has announced the latest renewal of its partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for 2026.
The announcement was made by IMMAF President Kerrith Brown during the 2026 IMMAF European Championships in Belgrade, addressing national leaders gathered at the European MMA Federation AGM meeting.
The UFC stands as IMMAF’s longest-running supporter and was the inaugural host of the IMMAF World Championships, welcoming the tournament finals at the UFC Fan Expo from 2014 to 2016. For over a decade, the UFC has played a pivotal role in supporting IMMAF’s development and standardisation of regional governance structures, sport recognition, and the expansion of grassroots pathways worldwide with safety and opportunity for athletes.
IMMAF President Kerrith Brown said:
“We are delighted by the continued support of the UFC, showing reinforced confidence in IMMAF’s athlete pathway and global development. The UFC has consistently demonstrated a clear understanding of what it takes to build and sustain growth, and most importantly, the need of lasting recognition for MMA across all levels of participation and governance, worldwide.
“On behalf of the IMMAF Board and CEO, as well as our member federations, we extend our sincere appreciation to the UFC for its ongoing partnership and shared commitment to the future of MMA.”
The renewed support further strengthens the shared commitment of IMMAF and the UFC towards structure and sustainable development of mixed martial arts across the globe, on a united front.
