The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) is delighted to reconfirm its ground-breaking partnership with Cellnutrition Sport, the world’s leading developer of cellular fitness solutions, in the run-up to this year’s MMA Youth World Championships.
The collaboration aims at maximising fighters’ safety and performance before, during, and after the tournament, with a close focus on brain hydration and protection.
Specifically, Cellnutrition Sport’s science-proven, natural solutions will play a critical role in cellular hydration, allowing participants to perform at their best and achieve their full potential.
Kerrith Brown, President of IMMAF, said: “The safety and well-being of athletes is always at the top of IMMAF’s agenda”.
“In combat sports, the body faces significant physical and mental challenges both in training and during competitive matches. This is why we are so excited to cement our successful partnership with Cellnutrition Sport ahead of this summer’s MMA Youth World Championships.”
Wissam Abi Nader, Vice-President of IMMAF “Thanks to the help of tailored, science-backed protocols designed to address the needs of MMA fighters, we can continue to take active steps to improve the performance of our athletes and preserve their overall well-being at all times.”
Through the alliance, athletes taking part in the Championships will gain exclusive access to Cellnutrition Sport’s proprietary, all-natural solutions. These include Hydrate 78 and Hydrate 78 Night, which provide 78+ electrolytes and trace elements derived from marine plasma 30m below plankton blooms, as well as Essential Fats, a unique omega blend.
Recognising the crucial role of mental fitness in MMA fighters, the partnership will also highlight the connection between brain hydration and athletic success through From the Shoulders Up. The initiative is dedicated to educating the world of sports on how a hydrated brain can aid cognitive function and promote better brain protection.
On top of this, IMMAF’s collaboration with Cellnutrition Sport will see the introduction of Women in Sport: Equal but Different, another programme with the potential to revolutionise the landscape for MMA.
Cellnutrition Sport Founder, John Kelleher, explained: “Women in Sport: Equal but Different is a pioneering protocol that acknowledges and tackles the unique – and often overlooked – physiological requirements of female athletes.
“Its purpose is to target women’s hormonal imbalances at the cellular level, allowing female athletes to benefit from optimal hydration and cellular lubrication, both essential for raising the bar when competing and exercising.
“The Cellnutrition Sport team is thrilled to renew its collaboration with IMMAF. We look forward to supporting MMA athletes, regardless of their age and gender, throughout the upcoming tournament and beyond.”
The MMA Youth World Championships will take place in Abu Dhabi from 5th August to 11th August, welcoming young athletes aged 12 to 17 from all over the globe.
