450 Athletes Compete At MMA Polska Championships Ahead of IMMAF Youth Worlds

Over 450 competitors attended the 7th MMA Polska Championships ahead of the 2023 IMMAF Youth World Championships.

In Poland’s 7th MMA Championships, approximately 400 bouts would take place over the course of a single day.

On Saturday, May 27th, roughly 530 amateur MMA athletes attended the MMA Polska Association’s 7th MMA Championships, which took place in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland.

Of the 530 attendees, just over 450 athletes passed the final verification assessments regarding weight, required tests and documents. These fighters, representing nearly 120 different gyms and clubs from across Poland, would compete in over 400 bouts, in junior, senior and cadet categories.

The 7th MMA Championships represented the last chance for Poland’s amateur MMA competitors to showcase their skillsets before the 2023 IMMAF Youth World Championships.

The 2023 IMMAF Youth Words Championships are set to take place on August 2-5 in Abu Dhabi.

Poland has a strong track record in IMMAF, with two-time IMMAF World Champion and three-time IMMAF European Champion Magdalena Czaban being a particular stand-out over the past few years.

The event was the first time in history that the MMA Polska Association had visited Grodzisk in the Sports and Entertainment Hall of the Center for Social Activation and Integration operating under the Sports and Recreation Center.

The results of all categories are available on the website of the MMA Poland Association under the link, whilst the broadcast of the whole competition can be seen on the MMA Polska Association YouTube channel. The finals of the individual categories were also shown live on Poland’s ‘Sport Channel’ and are set to be published on the TVP Sport website.
