This year, IMMAF continues to support the annual White Card Day. This year’s theme is “Scoring for People and the Planet”, and the IMMAF family around the world have been showing their commitment towards peace in sport by posting images in support of the movement.
Each year, to celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, Peace and Sport invites the world to show its support for the peace movement through sport through the symbol of the White Card.
The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation is proud to support Peace and Sport and shares the vision to help build peaceful communities through the power of sport and create a safer, more equitable and inclusive world.
IMMAF President Kerrith Brown said:
“White Card Day is a powerful reminder that sports, and in particular mixed martial arts, have the ability to bring people together, bridge cultural divides, and promote peace. By promoting respect, discipline, and fair play, MMA can be a force for positive change in the world. Let us use this day to celebrate the unifying power of sports and rededicate ourselves to building a more peaceful and harmonious world through MMA.”
