On Wednesday 20 May, the IMMAF Board reviewed the recently announced policy for gradings to be mandatory for athletes competing in IMMAF competitions.
The decisions taken were as follows:
- to postpone the implementation of mandatory requirements for IMMAF competitions
- to conduct a 360° review of the proposed IMMAF Progression Pathway and its relationship to the Competition Pathway – spanning the Coaching, Youth and Regulatory Committees and our Membership. IMMAF Founder & Honorary President August Wallen was invited by the Board to be involved in the consultation process.
There will be further communications and updates from IMMAF to Members as the review progresses.
