th September 2015) The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation is proud to announce the launch of its pilot partnership with MyNextMatch®, a single platform software solution for communication and knowledge sharing in competitive and recreational combat sports. The pilot project will see the innovative website developed and beta tested in 5 countries; Bahrain, Ireland, Turkey, Czech Republic and Australia. The finalized product will later be made available to all IMMAF members as part of IMMAF member services. About My Next Match Combining a diverse range of systems currently utilised in sports information management, MyNextMatch® creates one easily accessible location for the recording and sharing of information. The four key systems used by MyNextMatch® include:
- A Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
- A social networking platform.
- A matchmaking tool
- Medical examination cards
MyNextMatch® CEO and Founder, Oner Avara, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with IMMAF on the global implementation of
www.mynextmatch.com. The platform provides the sport with a single, dynamic hub that can be utilised by everyone interested in MMA from athletes, coaches, doctors, promoters and fans. Mynextmatch.com provides an exclusive, club and athlete management, plus matchmaking services for coaches and promoters with its unique algorithm ensuring appropriate matches and events can be created at every level. This, combined with data and statistics on all registered athletes and their matches means it is a must for fans of MMA around the world giving them everything they need to know about their favourite athletes. “Soon medical staff will be able create digital medical cards for every athlete providing a single record located in a central and secure database accessible only to doctors. This essential document will have a profound impact on the way the sports handle medical records acting as a checklist for medics, ensuring each athlete is safe and fit to compete and enabling all post-match injuries to be recorded electronically. “The unique appeal of
www.mynextmatch.com is that it works for any sport at any level from grassroots right through to the elite in a range of areas from membership to medical, and I am confident this partnership will play an important part in the further development of mixed martial arts.” IMMAF CEO Densign White said: “We are really excited to be entering the pilot phase with MyNextMatch. We are looking forward to being able to offer this service to all our member federations. We understand that many of our members currently lack the resources that MyNextMatch will provide, such as a member management system and confidential medical database accessible only to nominated doctors. These, the match-making tool and social media functions will in turn provide value to clubs, promoters and sports participants affiliated to our member federations worldwide. The provision of these services, will enable an income stream to national federations through their membership via a nominal sign-up fee. “The wider potential of the system is vast, as MMA is at a unique stage at which all member federations can still opt to be interconnected via one software system. This system can provide real time data snapshots of the sport within each country including numbers of clubs and athletes, numbers of matches and anonymous injury rates. A global picture of mixed martial arts, as it has evolved from the grassroots is not currently available, and this kind of statistical information is critical for the development and growth of the sport.”
