The Polish MMA Federation has issued an invitation to Polish Amateurs to attend national tryouts for the 2015 IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA.
The tryouts will take place on:
- 30th January 2015 in Wilanow
- 20th February 2015 in Opole
- 06th March 2015 in Łobez
- 14th March 2015 in Kalisz
The finals will take place on 15th of April in Wloclawek.
Last year Poland was represented at the 2014 IMMAF Worlds by a team of 5: Kacper Formela (Lightweight), Łukasz Jan Siwiec (Welterweight), Karol Linowski (Light Heavyweight), Marcin Kalata (Heavyweight) and Aleksandra Milczarek (Women’s Bantamweight). Aleksandra Milczarek and Marcin Kalata came away with silver medals, while Karol Linowski attained Bronze.
In further news the PLMMAF has also issued an official statement that all professional MMA matches sanctioned by the organisation moving forward will be under the Unified Rules rule set, as used by the UFC.
