IMMAF alumni continued to make their mark on the professional MMA scene this past week, delivering strong performances and impressive wins across multiple events worldwide.
Former IMMAF world champion Sabrinna de Sousa (4-0) stayed unbeaten, scoring a unanimous decision win over Saray Orozco (8-8) in the PFL World Tournament Finals. De Sousa, one of the most decorated amateurs in IMMAF history with multiple gold medals to her name, once again demonstrated the composure and all-around skillset that defined her amateur reign. Her ability to adapt across striking and grappling exchanges underlines why she was considered one of the brightest prospects to emerge from the IMMAF system, and this latest victory shows she is steadily establishing herself on the global professional stage.
At Cage Masters FC 4, Chingis Idrissov (2-0) extended his undefeated record with a first-round rear-naked choke over Junior Tarquínio (4-5). Idrissov, who gained recognition competing internationally under the IMMAF banner, is proving to be a promising professional prospect with back-to-back dominant victories.
In Qonaev, Kazakhstan, at Octagon 77, two IMMAF alumni picked up big wins. Khujakul Ergashev (1-0) made a successful professional debut with a unanimous decision over Vitaliy Chernyavskiy (2-1), while Dastan Malik (4-0) remained undefeated, earning a highlight-reel first-round KO against Askat Karabek uulu (2-3). Both athletes showcased the effectiveness of their IMMAF foundation on the pro stage.
At BetCity Fight Nights 127, Mohamed Alsameea (4-1) delivered an emphatic first-round KO against Rustam Cholakov (1-1). With a strong IMMAF background, Alsameea highlighted his striking power and continued his rise in the professional circuit.
Brazil’s Raiane Vinuto (5-1) picked up another impressive win at Jungle Fight 139, submitting Laura Fontoura (8-4) in the second round. A former IMMAF competitor, Vinuto once again used her grappling prowess to shine on the South American professional stage.
In the United States, Sophie Lang (1-0) made a successful pro debut at King of the Cage, submitting Brianne Jhun (1-2) in the second round. Lang, who earned a medal on the IMMAF amateur circuit, kicked off her professional career in style with a dominant performance.
In Japan at DEEP 126, seasoned IMMAF veteran Sho Sekihara (13-4) added another win to his record, defeating Daichi Kitakata (20-14-1) by decision. With years of international amateur experience, Sekihara continues to show consistency and longevity on the Asian professional scene.
