On June 26, 2025, the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) unveiled a new Medal Reallocation Policy for handling doping disqualifications—with notification en route to rightful recipients and requests for medals to be returned by disqualified athletes.
National Federations will have an opportunity to acknowledge receipt and organize delivery of upgrades to the relevant athletes. Correspondence will include a letter from the IMMAF president, a medal certificate and a redistributed medal, if IMMAF be able to secure its return. The return of medals from all future doping violations will be mandatory.
Athletes who are no longer affiliated with a national team will receive direct guidance from IMMAF on how to accept their upgrade.
Bronze medals that are vacated due to an upgrade will remain vacant. The following list includes all athletes from semi-finals and upwards, who are now recognised for upgraded placements due to opponent doping violations.
