The last week of September saw a number of IMMAF alumni claim victories across the professional world of Mixed Martial Arts.
France’s Axel Sola, a true veteran of IMMAF competition and now one of the top European prospects in pro MMA, was in emphatic form at ARES 25. The former multi-time IMMAF continental champion delivered an MMA clinic against Soslan Gagloev in the main event, defending his lightweight title with a stunning second-round TKO finish.
On the same card, Shamkhan Kushagov also impressed, improving to 3-0 in the professional ranks with a neck crank submission win over fellow IMMAF alum Milton Mateus.
UAE Warriors 53 featured a host of former IMMAF champions and standout athletes. 2023 IMMAF World Champion Lisa Zimmo continued her undefeated streak, finishing Sohila Sleem in the first round. Omar Tugarev, Muhidin Abubakar, and Amena Hadaya also emerged victorious.
At PFL Europe, Poland’s Paulina Wiśniewska secured a unanimous decision win over Karolina Wójcik in the Women’s Flyweight Semi-Finals. She now moves on to face rising British contender Shanelle Dyer for the PFL Europe Women’s Flyweight title.
Abay Zhalal extended his professional winning streak to six, overcoming Dilshod Kubaiev at Octagon 63. On the same card, Bahrain’s Murad Ibragimov impressed with a rear-naked choke submission of Heydar Abdullaev.
Finally, three IMMAF alumni triumphed at BRAVE CF 88, with Miha Frlic, Kristjan Toniste, and Chiril Negru all securing statement wins under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner.
