The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) is pleased to announce the first group of athletes that will take part in the IMMAF Anti-Doping Registered Testing Pool (RTP). The IMMAF RTP is a group of top athletes who are subject to out-of-competition tests and are responsible for providing whereabouts information in the World Anti-Doping Agency ADAMS system.
Athletes included in the RTP are required to provide up-to-date and accurate whereabouts information. Whereabouts information is filled in the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS).
ADAMS is a centralized, free platform operated and managed by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
ADAMS supports clean sport by simplifying the daily activities of all athletes involved in anti-doping programs. It is built to be secure, to ensure anti-doping programs are coordinated and efficient, and to harmonize anti-doping practices around the world.
The first group of athletes to register on the system are as follows.
Magomed Sheikhov (BHR)
Movsar Ibragimov (BEL)
Ammar Mazri (FRA)
Jovidon Mahmudov (TAJ)
Munis Muminjonov (UZB)
Anti-Doping Manager Sophie Mueller said:
“The RTP includes IMMAF’s top elite athletes in each weight category. We work closely with the RTP athletes to continuously educate, monitor and review on a regular basis. We cooperate with the athlete’s national federation to ensure all requirements and deadlines are met and to build up the national federation’s Anti-Doping program. Our athletes have the responsibility to protect the integrity of MMA, and providing whereabouts in ADAMS is about protecting the athlete’s right to clean sport. We believe in building IMMAF’s future on Clean MMA.”
Further information regarding the RTP and ADAMS can be found in the IMMAF Athletes’ Whereabouts.
