IMMAF Amateur MMA Awards Best Performance Open To Public Vote: Five Bouts Make The List

A full calendar of events in 2022; featuring African, Asian, European, and Pan-American competitions, presented MMA fans with some of the most incredible bouts in amateur MMA history. The Green Hill Performance of the Year category of the IMMAF Amateur MMA Awards shortlists five outstanding moments from individual bouts and is open to a public vote through the IMMAF website.

Featherweight competitor Cecilie Bolander (Norway) is amongst the nominees for her 31 second armbar victory over England’s Summer Onley at the 2022 IMMAF European Championships.

Another spectacular performance from the European Championships, Ioan Harris’ (Wales) scored a von flue choke submission against Patrick Habirora in the Welterweight final.

Patrick Habirora (Belgium) earns his own nomination, however, through his knockout of Czech Republic’s Václav Žemla, which stands as the fastest knockout in IMMAF history (9 seconds).

Robin Enontekiö (Sweden) earns his spot on the shortlist through his incredible stoppage of Guyana’s Ijaz Cave at the 2021 IMMAF World Championships whilst Maurio Silva (Angola) rounds off the nominees list through his marvellous knockout of South Africa’s Nathanial Komana at the 2022 IMMAF Africa Championships.

The 2022 IMMAF Amateur MMA Awards will officially take place on February 15th, in Belgrade, Serbia, as part of IMMAF World Championships Week.
