The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) has announced a new Turkish MMA organisation entering the IMMAF membership system with the Combat Mixed Martial Arts Sport Association (CMMASA) achieving Observational Membership.
Based in Istanbul with a strong administration and infrastructure, the purpose of the CMMASA board and its membership body is to develop MMA in the Republic of turkey. The CMMASA sees Mixed Martial Arts as the leader within Turkey’s combat sport race and is geared towards athlete development and construction of a national competition network with a clear pathway to the international IMMAF platform. The organisation to date has a history of producing international amateur talent including a former WMMAA world gold medallist.
