September 7 – Priority registration window ends for the top 32 ranked nations. September 8 – Registration opens for all national teams to register athletes in any remaining spaces on a first come first served basis. From September 8 national teams may register a maximum of 2 athletes per weight bracket. September 28 – Registration window closes. Many national federations under the IMMAF umbrella host annual championships and team qualifying contests ahead of the international marquee events. “IMMAF allocates a priority window to the top 32 ranked nations to register 1 athlete per division. This is due to each bracket being available to a maximum of 32 competitors,” IMMAF events director, Alistair Pettitt, explained. “By providing a priority registration window, an incentive is given for federations to compete as regularly as possible at IMMAF events throughout the year in order for their athletes to gain experience and ranking points, adding to the national total and thus ascending to a higher ranked position.” IMMAF’s prestigious 5 day, nation vs nation tournament will be hosted by the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qPJCCWfb0I&t=3s
