Fighting out of Greenville County, South Carolina, the duo train at Jimmy Fowler’s Revolution MMA and Performance Fitness in the city of Inman alongside the likes of former Olympic wrestler and current no.6 ranked UFC bantamweight contender, Sara McMann. Having showcased incredibly high, well rounded abilities on the U.S. national circuit, the 19-year-old makes her IMMAF debut in the Women’s strawweight bracket and will battle as an unseeded yet highly touted and undefeated newcomer to the international scene. The action continues with day 3 of the Asian Open at the Marina Bay Sands on Thursday, June 15. The 115lb division is an unconquered realm since the professional transition of Bulgarian Aleksandra Toncheva who dominated for two years, taking the European Open gold medal in both 2015 and 2016 and the IMMAF World Championship title in 2016. Swedish newcomer Fannie Redman emerged at this year’s European Open to win the 2017 title, but was forced to withdraw from the inaugural Asian Open due to injury. With the continental strawweight titles divided, all eyes will be on the 2017 IMMAF World Championships where amateur MMA’s most prestigious accolades will be decided.
