Two-time IMMAF world amateur champion, Will Starks (pictured above), will make his professional MMA debut on 21 January at Titan FC 43: Torres vs. Nombre, airing live on UFC Fight Pass. For the first time ever, three IMMAF World Amateur Championship Gold medal winners will be competing on the same card as professionals. 2014 Flyweight champion Carlos Hernandez makes his debut with the promotion alongside reigning Titan FC interim Flyweight champion Jose Torres (professional record 3-0) who defends his crown in the main event against 18-2 Brazilian professional Pedro Nombre. Torres made history as an amateur in 2015 when becoming the first two time IMMAF World Champion at Bantamweight, extending his record to 25-1. Starks (22-1), equaled the feat as an amateur Welterweight in 2016. Inaugural IMMAF Flyweight champion Hernandez takes on 1-0 professional Gustavo Eddy Balart. In 2012 Balart was a member of the 2012 Cuban Greco-Roman Olympic team and was a Pan-Am Gold Medalist 2011. As national amateur champions the golden trio of Hernandez, Torres and Starks represented the USA MMA Federation (UMMAF), fighting for Team USA under the banner of the IMMAF World Championships.
