Taking place at Prague’s Arena of Sparta, the Swedish amateur faced Italian opposition Danielle Dell’Otto. The 2015 champion secured takedowns in each round to implement a gameplan of heavy top control and remained in fresh physical condition as he progressed to the quarter finals via a Unanimous Decision victory. Akman will now face Iceland’s Bjorn Thorleifsson on November 24.
