180 competitors from 30 national teams have registered for the 2016 IMMAF European Open Championships of Amateur MMA in Prague from 22 to 26 November. See full list of national teams and competitors below. Hosted by the Czech Mixed Martial Arts Association (MMAA), the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation’s nation vs. nation tournament plays out in 2 rings across 5 days under IMMAF Amateur Rules. All registered competitors are now subject to vetting and clearance by IMMAF and Safe MMA. First time nations participating in the European Open include Estonia, USA, Russia, Pakistan, Lebanon, Spain and South Africa. Lebanon presents the second female from the Middle East to compete under IMMAF, while Russia brings the largest female delegation of 5 athletes. Meanwhile, Sweden brings the biggest count of returning IMMAF World and Continental Open medallists.
