Cameroon's NLMMAC ready to build following successful amateur championships

Fighterkamer.com reported that event exceeded expectations with vibrancy, planting seeds of expectation for the future as Cameroon’s amateur MMA scene continues to grow. NLMMAC President, Guy Bertrand Olomo stated: (Translation) “Congratulations to all those who worked towards the success of CFC 5. I can already announce here that preparations have launched for CFC 6 in November, 2016; details will be communicated in the coming weeks. Many thanks to the medical professionals who were there to benefit us and the fans of MMA in Cameroon, plus the NLMMAC and its fighters. For the first time we have really experienced amateur MMA according to the rules of IMMAF. Bravo.” In addition to regulating its first amateur MMA event contested under Unified Amateur Rules, 2016 has seen the NLMMAC has secure team sponsorship with respected international equipment brand Green Hilland has also welcomed veteran UFC cutman Joe Clifford who conducted an educational workshop on correct medical practice when cornering fights.
