AIMMAA) has informed IMMAF.org that featherweight veteran Kanthraj Agasa, an alumni of India’s National Amateur Team, recently completed a successful professional debut at the BodyPower India Open MMA Championships 2016. The former Team India representative took part in the 2015 IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA in Las Vegas, and made it to the third round with a competitive effort against the USA’s David Evans who progressed to the 135-145lb quarter finals with a late TKO victory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGk2FpcSys4 At the BodyPower India Open MMA Championships in Mumbai Agasa faced the previously undefeated veteran Dhruv Chaudhary (4-1), who had also competed in India’s leading MMA promotion, SFL.
