Having taken victory in the opening round Nyland competed twice on Day 2 with a TKO victory over Italian Fracesco Spinola and a unanimous decision win against Iceland’s Bjarki Omarsson in what was one the completion’s standout contests so far. Nyland eventually earned silver after going the distance to lose a unanimous decision to Team UK Welshman Jack Shore. 135lb veteran Camilla Mannes earned bronze at the European Open after a back and forth contest with Swedish tournament standout Gabriella Ringblom who progressed to take silver in a hard fought final bout. Mannes takes on Emily Mitchell of the Den Fight Centre in King’s Lynn.
