The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation is pleased to present the venues for the 2014 IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas – prestigious Cox Pavilion and for the finals the Mandalay Bay Convention Center during the world renowned UFC Fan Expo. The inaugural IMMAF World Championships in Amateur MMA is set to take place in Las Vegas June 30th through to July 5th 2014. Athletes from around the world have competed for the honor of representing their countries in the sport that they love, and the national teams are now ready to take on the five day tournament. The first four days of the World Championships tournament will be held at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and its prestigious Cox Pavilion. A well-known sports arena in the Fighting Capital of the World, the Cox Pavilion is famous for among other things hosting the live finale of the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter®,” where Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar delivered an epic match often noted in MMA history books as one of the greatest and most memorable of all time. In this very arena the IMMAF member federations and their national teams will compete for the prize of a spot in the finals on Saturday July 5th. For the day of the finals the tournament will move into the UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) is supporting the IMMAF by hosting the finals during the UFC Fan Expo where thousands of fans from around the world come to celebrate their passion for MMA.
