Nyra has 11-years managerial and supervisory experience in the MMA industry. She has played a pivotal role in the growth of MMA in New Zealand, creating media initiatives, athlete support functions, sponsorship and revenue streams that have strengthened the sports position. She is well-known in the MMA community and unified the various organisations in her home country to form the New Zealand Mixed Martial Arts Federation of which she is Vice-president. Her success in creating a national MMA sanctioning organisation saw her attain the role of Championships Director for the inaugural IMMAF Amateur World Championships in 2014 and again in 2015. Her engagement with industry leaders the Nevada State Athletics Commission and the UFC ensure she is in a primary position to implement IMMAF’s long term strategy. Nyra’s commercial sensibilities have seen the development of a multi-faceted information hub. NZMMA.tv, which gives fans an opportunity to gain insight into the athletes that take part in the sport. Among her other achievements, Nyra also established the first dedicated MMA clothing store in New Zealand. Her business acumen is recognised in the sport and she is advising athletes, promoters and coaches on how to further develop their own commercial value through sound business practice.
STEWART BRAIN – AUSTRALIA

Olympian Stewart Brain has competed internationally in Judo since 1974, reaching the quarter finals of the Seoul Games in 1988 in the 73 kilo category. He has been involved in the sports administration since 1985 and has served as National Administration Coaching Director, National Sports Commissioner and National Secretary for the Judo Federation Australia. He established the Kokodan Commission and Kata Commission of Australia and was also the Judo National Team coach. Away from Judo Stewart runs his own construction business.
