Between 1992 and 2017 Nick Davies held senior positions at the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), ranging from Communications Director and Spokesman to Deputy CEO and Chief of Staff to IAAF President Lord Sebastian Coe. This represents more than 20 years of
experience at a leading Olympic sport federation.
Trained as a journalist, he helped to establish the Monaco based IAAF as a leading sport federation for media relations, PR, event services, print and online engagement. Fluent in French and Spanish, Nick has an international background and deep insight into the passion, politics and commercial
potential of sport.
Since September 2017 Nick has been a Specialist Partner at Pagefield Communications and developed a Pagefield Sport offer from scratch. Since its official launch in May 2018 Pagefield Sport has worked with a leading F1 team and key sponsor, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy, the Kazakh Boxing Federation, Dunhill Links Championships golf tournament, Dina Asher Smith, Paula Radcliffe and others.
Nick also consulted for the world’s leading social media publishing platform for Athletes, UNSCRIPTD, providing international sport relations support to help them increase their global reach, particularly in athletics and Olympic sport. Unscriptd has recently been bought by US sport social
media giant Players Tribune.
Nick is a member of the World Squash Federation’s Communications Commission and an Ambassador of Thames Valley Harriers, one of the UK’s leading athletics clubs.
