(London. 9 November 2016) Qwick-AID® is generously donating all-natural hemostatic bandages for use by the cutman team for the 2016 IMMAF European Open Championships, under IMMAF Cutman Educator Joseph Clifford. The event, which takes place in Prague, Czech Republic, from 22- 26 November, will see cutman services required for 280 competitors. Joe Clifford (BSC. DIP. PH. TH. C.S.C.S.) has long been an evangelical advocate of evidence based treatments and natural haemostatic agents, that comply with medical process and do not put MMA competitors at any risk. Through meticulous research and development, scientific advance and expertise, Qwick-AID® has a developed breakthrough technology resulting in an all-natural multi-layer patented bandage that stops bleeding in seconds without sticking to the wound. It is changing the way that injuries are managed. Clifford has worked extensively as a cutman both nationally and internationally since 2004, covering events for the UFC, IMMAF, WBA, WSB and AIBA and most recently providing cutman services at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Under IMMAF, he heads up the education and licensing of cutmen, with a mission to set “a new standard globally which compliments event emergency services in providing a standard of care not seen before in corners”. His courses have been approved by independent medical organization, Safe MMA. The international cut team for the 2016 IMMAF European Open Championships comprises IMMAF licensed cutmen from across member nations, shadowed by graduates of the IMMAF introductory level Cutman Course who will be working to gain experience ringside.
