IMMAF President: ‘Greenhill are the perfect partner for IMMAF’

IMMAF recently announced its continued partnership with Greenhill Sports as the official equipment supplier for the 2016 IMMAF European Open Championships. IMMAF first teamed with Greenhill for the inaugural 2015 IMMAF European Open Championships in the United Kingdom. The established equipment developer also featured at the 2016 IMMAF World Championships at UFC International Fight Week in Las Vegas (USA) and, in addition to protective shin guards and Amateur MMA gloves, provided red and blue corner rashguard tops and competition shorts for both male and female competitors in a break from MMA convention. The rashguards contributed to defining an ‘Olympic’ brand feel for IMMAF Amateur MMA. Since the 2015 European Open, IMMAF’s partnership with Greenhill has seen cooperative development in the evolution of technical equipment with advancements made in providing athletes with freshly designed gloves and shin guards. “Green Hill are the perfect partner for IMMAF as a brand who can understand and relate to our target of taking MMA to the Olympic Games,” IMMAF president Kerrith Brown explained. “Green Hill has deep roots in multiple martial arts disciplines and is at the technical forefront as an equipment provider. Their background in traditional martial arts enables them to understand the importance of youth and grass roots sport development around the world.” Founded in 1964 as a family business driven by a love and respect for martial arts, Greenhill was established to deliver the best quality sportswear and sporting gear for sports people around the world. Staying forever true to its core values of quality, beauty and excellence, Greenhill has since become one of the world’s leading sports brands. The brand has gained recognition through being an official supplier to the Olympic Games in London, Beijing and Athens, master suppliers to the International Judo Federation and through product approval by the International Boxing Association (AIBA), the World Karate Federation and the World Taekwondo Federation.
