Yesterday IMMAF.org reported that CEO and Olympic judoka Densign White had been voted in as the new Chairman of community sport organisation, Sporting Equals (click HERE for more information), who work to bring members of disadvantaged black and minority ethnic communities into various sporting realms. The body is a national partner of Sport England and also serves as an advisory to the national Department of Culture Media and Sport. Today, on behalf of the entire IMMAF board, President Kerrith Brown wishes to congratulate both Mr White and Sporting Equals, highlighting his anticipation of a hugely beneficial relationship. “On behalf of myself and the entire IMMAF board I’d like to congratulate Densign on being elected as Chairman of Sporting Equals. I’m certain that his contribution to the organisation will make a great difference to those in need and will make the level of impact that it has at IMMAF. Densign has brought unwavering dedication and highly productive developments to IMMAF over his time here and during my presidency. Sporting Equals has the honourable task engaging sport within disadvantaged BME communities and I feel that this new link between Sporting Equals and IMMAF could open doors for a wealth of new participants and better recognition for the sport of MMA.” For more information on Sporting Equals visit SportingEquals.org.
