German National Amateur Championships Results

The German Amateur MMA Championships recently took place where GEMMAF national champions qualified to compete at the 2016 IMMAF World Championships later this year. Familar faces who have once again qualified for international IMMAF competition include the likes of bantamweight European Open veteran Daniel Möller, plus 2015 World Championships and European Open featherweight bronze medal winner Julia Dorny (pictured below, right, taking on European Open champion Sanna Merta). – Click HERE to read’s exclusive interview with Julia Dorny from earlier this year. Dorny fight The German Mixed Martial Arts Federation (GEMMAF) hosted a total of 9 National Championship divisions including both male and female categories. Each German champion will be invited to join the country’s National Amateur MMA Team for the 2016 IMMAF World Championships. German athletes who placed second at the National Championships may also be invited in the event that the champion is unable to compete.
